Paul Weller and the Beta Band. Numerous occasions, always put in the effort and not there just to rip the fans off, which cannot be said the same for Oasis, another of my favourite bands.
Olympia Theatre in Dublin was my favourite Weller gig.

The ruts, circa 1979, blew the top rank apart, closely followed by Tom robinson band, supported by stiff little fingers again at the rank "77 or"78.

The Old Top Rank was a great venue for live bands.
Iron Maiden first Uk Tour with Di'anno on vocals absolutley tore the place apart, even scaring the dickie bowed bouncers!
Rory Gallagher 3 hour set felt like 1 hour
A band called Pig in a pub in Sidmouth. Two Bass players an Electic Violin, accordian a drummer with a doubloe bass drum.
Imagine Crass meets Sabbath with a dash of Fairport Convention. It might have been the 7% scrumpy though
