Joe Ralls - Better than Ledley & Jerome

When you look at the players who have come through our Academy over the years it makes impressive reading.

Cameron Jerome and Joe Ledley have to be amongst the stars but I wonder whether Joe Ralls has the ability to be better than them both?

On the face of yesterday I personally think he does....

Looks special.

Far better than Gunter and Ledley at 18, and lets be fair, they are both
bloody good players

You're gonna have to judge him after about 5-10games played with us I'd say. You can't judge him of a couple of games, don';t get me wrong, he could be a gem, but I'm just saying, give him time.

Ledley was effectively pre-Academy.

Jerome spnt a grand total of one season in the Academy setup, Boro take the credit.

I agree that Jerome was only with the Academy for a year but it was a special year. Anyone remember the Hat Trick he scored for the Under 18s against what some thought was a good Charlton side!

When I do the photography for the club I tend to follow specific players and I just thought his runs and anticipation were beyond his years. I agree that we need to Judge him after a few games but lets be fair thats not the first time he has scored a spectacular goal.

I've been Impressed with him but let's not build him up as our fans will only use it against him when he has an off day.

If he had not scored that goal everyone would be saying he needs more time. Reality check time the lad is still a Pup let him grow and learn
