We all accept our injury position and we all accept the fact that Malky has barely replaced the players we lost last season (not sure I really call this backing by the board as we HAD TO REPLACE the players we lost)

Now we all know we need 3-4 new squad players to boost squad numbers to bring it back on par with the size as last seasons team, so now it IS TIME for the board to get their wallets out and give Malky the cash to bring in a few players (TIME TO START TRUSTING HIM AND BACKING HIM after a decent start to the season)

We are desperate for a striker and GOALS! with the current status of the team we will struggle to score let alone win, but even though we have either drawn/lost half our games so far - we can clearly see that the board must take a sensible risk now and believe in what Malky is capable of.

Craig, there is no negativity because we finally have the right manager and players, just need a few more of these type of players

I have to agree with that

Like ive said for a while now, Malky is probably waiting for the best time to get his loanee's in, it wouldnt have been worth getting them before the game yesterday to then get paid for an international break and run down their loan slowly without game time.

We all know Malky is a clever manager and it isnt as if he isnt being backed as he's been making calls left right and centre which shows that there is money there. He's probably been given a set wage budget for the loan signing and then been told "right come January, you'll have X amount to spend". Give the guy some credit though, he has been looking nonstop for people but they just havent been in the best interest of the club for whatever reasons.

All i can say is keep the faith. Even with an injury ragged team he is still getting the lads to perform well and show passion and thats what we all moaned about players under DJ not showing right?

Perhaps, finally, this whole Club... Boardroom, management, backroom staff,

Last season... Divided we fell

There are only a handful of knockers on here right now. Some have genuine
concerns, perhaps cos of our past history? Cant blame them in a way! Others
just like to shit stir. One or two are blatantly clueless about football, but in
the main they are proper seen off by the positivity brigade

I think the missing link is that partner for Miller up front. Mason and Gestede
are going to be great players I think, but neither are quite ready to do the
business week in week out. Once we find the right feller for up top I think we
are going to thrash teams

Before the lge started none of us honestly expected to get 4pts from Westham and Blackpool away so no one can moan about a 2-1 defeat away to Hull. Esp when me more than held our own and had a Pen given the taken away. With the current injury crisis @ the club i think MM wants players he cant get @ the moment and since hes not the type to panic buy he will wait till January to use the remainder of his small budget.
I myself am delighted to the start if the season and said i would be estatic if we got into the PlayOffs and nothings changed there.. MM has a free season im my eyes to stablise and establish himself and his ethics into the squad and if you ask me he has hit the ground running.

Whats been most impressive though is the fans, The expectations and tensions that came with them over DJ and PR reign seem to have dissapeared and there is optimism amongst us now. Something we have not had for a long time. the PlayOffs and nothings changed there.. To tell the truth im enjoying this season more than last, no real expectations just enjoying it.
