Injiuries , Bare Bones , What are Ambitions this season

Sat Oct 01, 2011 5:34 pm

Now we know what the new signings are and not successful in the loan market , what are the ambitions of the Malasians.

Dont get me wrong , without them we`d be in admin and maybe out of business BUT if they want success why are they not investing?

is the Sam money holding things up ?

Also MM has obviously told people within club not to disclose targets thats why we dont get inside info but hapy with that

Will the owners now give loan money to MM or are they waiting for January market , we need 4 players in now or we will be mid table then what will ambitions be next season ??

MM doing great job but wont be long before he bangs on Gethins door and asks questions

Any one know whats happening ??? Stability at moment or is it any other reason for investment ??? :ayatollah:

Not investing?? so the reported £800,000 on miller plus his £25,000 per week wages, £250,000 on mason, another 6 figure on compo for Gunnarsson, the sacking and paying up of all the backroom staff, the compo paid to watford for all their backroom staff....and the inflated signing on fees that come with free transfers, of which we've had about 6/7, plus a loan fee for Kiss..........you're right, they haven't invested a penny!!! oh and £300k on lights for the pitch

i nearly forgot the £750,000 on Turner!!!

Spot on, im glad im not the only one who can see this

and as for the comment of "we need 4 players in now or we will be mid table then what will ambitions be next season", your aware that the start of the season we were expecting mid season as this season is being classed as a stepping stone, its been a complete overhaul and RESTRUCTURE of the team and back room staff. oh, and lets not forget THERES ANOTHER TRANSFER WINDOW!

Maybe if you re-read my original message you will see that i clearly stated about investment - THE point i am making is thst now is the time to support MM further , they had to bring on 9 players anyway as we would not have had a team but with additional squad we can push for play off or would you rather prefer mid table ? If they want Prem they need to invest further

Im actually quite fine with mid table this season as im not putting huge expectation on the team to get prem this season as i know that this season is a season to rebuild and properly challenge for next season. If we get play offs or prem then obviously ill be over the moon but ill be perfectly fine with mid table this season due to the amount of changes that have happened within the squad and within the management.

They have been investing, but is it not clear that they have invested in behind the scenes matters?
Remember, VT never once said he would bankroll us to the prem, he's after giving the club a firm financial standing and he's doing that while building up the clubs stature, increasing our revenue etc etc etc so that we can afford to pay off all debts.
He clearly has given MM money or otherwise he wouldnt be looking to bring people in right?

Agree mate - I think if they want us in the Prem though so they can make millions off us in Malasia then they have to invest more on players thatll get us up

Yeah i dont disagree with that at all, its just the fact that theres still another window to go yet so maybe VT may be thinking why get a loan player which wont be ours when we could buy a player and tie them down?

We'll get prem under their investment, just gotta be patient because it'll probs not happen this season. If we do get promotion this season mind, Malky will go down as a legend for coming into a club that was down to its barebones and taking us to the promised land. :ayatollah:
