Agreed, this is getting ridiculous. The Bluebirds look like a contender. This team DESERVES support.

It's not a matter of having no cash, it's a matter of having enough. It is clear he does not have enough he has said that he missed out on some guys in the transfer window. How did he miss out? Not enough cash.

I go to the store all the time, and look. But I only buy what I can afford.

I reckon they'll take a proper look towards end of December to see where we are. Did they get a little burnt last season? Who knows............
Malky needs to keep it going and get us in a position we can push on from!

How did he miss out?

Maybe by not paying ridiculous wages.
Maybe by Prem teams being after the same players.
Maybe he feels players attitudes may be detrimental to us? Oh wait, he was quoted on that one, so can't be true.

No, it's clearly got to be down to the Malaysians. They should just give Malky their credit card see, spend spend spend and let's not worry about the repayments.

FFS... We have a budget that we have to work to. But at the moment most clubs in our division are all after the same type players, even the one's in div 1 (Charlton etc, etc)

For all you ignoramasies who haven't got a clue about how loan schemes work in British football, let me educate you.....

Assuming that we are interested in a Premiership player, then here are some details..........

Loan Fee .... could be as much £100k - £200k
Wages ... depends on the the deal, but for a Premiership player, probably nothing less than £8k (even for a reserve)
Agents fee's ...perhaps £1k - £2k per month
Insurance costs ..£1K - £2K per month

By the way, K means £1000....

For me we are doing the right thing, Malky is clever, very clever, and he will never pay over the odds, and will respect the budget that he has been given.

For me Malky is the best thing that has happened to my club. My biggest problem is that Malky will eventually leave to the Premiership (which i think is inevitable) lets hope we get get compo for him

His words not mine...He missed out....no need to spew your typical holier than thou venom on me. He tried to bring in players and for whatever reason, good or bad it did not work out. No one here said spend, spend, spend, except you. I only would like a body or two to supliment this depleted squad.

Why does he, why should he?
If the club can't afford it then why should he pay?
Isn't that the mistake of previous chairman and the reason we were almost wound up?

30k a week seems a lot but you have to remember prem players are on a he'll of a lot. Like oli was on nearly 30k i believe (we paid half). Lots of average players on big wages. Plus clubs want loan fees now so it's expensive.
Steve Borley said to me Friday we won't get anyone in now as it's international break (why pay wages when not playing). Then look again.

Rudy and earnie, Conway could be back next game and ralls and Mason surely have to be in the squad so would we be paying for players on loan and the either pushing out good youngsters who have done well or not playing loan players and wasting money??

Where as for the same money in jan we could sign perm players on perm deals.

MM had his budget so i have full confidence in him.

Fair comment, was just a bit shocked what we had on the bench.MM has worked miracles as far as im concerned, but i think he's got his work cut out for him with all these injuries we got

I think it was a case of risk it for two games and the asses.

Thing is getting in 3 loans say could easily cost say 500k in loan fees plus wages.

Then come jan we may be top 6 and everyone will want more invested to push top 2 or keep us In top 6.
Then we may make top 6 and no go up and everyone expects further investment next season after being so close while moaning the malaysians have got us further in debt (and more debt than Sam)

To me for them it's a lose lose situation until we go up, despite them keeping us afloat.
