Thats right mate.
Twice in the last week.
Fantastic club player, massive commitment, energy, wonderful tackling, speed, and timing from reading the game so well.My favourite City player for the few years.
But distribution is not international/premiership quality. We saw that last Sunday against Leicester. He broke into the box a couple of times, but the end product wasnt quite there.
Its the reason that Ridsdale/Jones never cashed in on him.
Remember the time that Premier league teams were clamouring to get him? No me neither

Gives his all - don't think the end product is a highly important attribute you look for in a quality DEFENDER?

Oh course you do. Whats the point of him pushing forward just to give the ball away? Which he does. Often.
MM is clearly a bg fan of playing a tight diamond in midfield with the full backs overlapping.
Quality distribution from the full backs is vital to that formation.
