Seventeen year-old Academy graduate Joe Ralls has signed professional terms with Cardiff City Football Club.
Ralls, who featured for the Bluebirds impressively in this season's Carling Cup against Oxford and Huddersfield, spoke exclusively to Cardiff City Player once the ink on his contract had dried, saying: "It's a fantastic feeling to have signed professionally with a Club like Cardiff City.
"I've been in the Academy setup here at Cardiff for a couple of years and have to thank Ards, Skyrmey and everyone else involved with the Academy for helping me progress to the stage I'm at now.
"I'm excited about continuing my development and continuing to work closely with Ards as well as the Gaffer and his coaching team. Hopefully there will be opportunities to feature more for the Development side in the coming months as well as the under 18s, though of course I'll be happy to do whatever the coaches think is right for me."
Aldershot-born Joe began his journey on schoolboy terms at Aldershot Town, before joining Farnborough Town under 16s. It was while playing for Farnborough that he was spotted by City scouts.
Speaking of the latest acquisition to his playing staff, Malky Mackay spoke of Joe's talent and promise saying: "We're delighted to have tied another one of our youngsters up to the Club. Joe is a promising player who sees his future at Cardiff City.
"I've been very impressed with Joe during the time we've seen him, so much so that we involved him in the early rounds of the Carling Cup. He's got a good attitude and wants to learn quickly - to that end we've secured him.
"I had a good chat with him and his family yesterday and Joe will be travelling with us up to Hull today."

I think he may feature sooner rather than later.
Could him signing terms mean that we aren't any closer to a few loan signings?
