His backtracking and tackling are so much better this year. With his vision for a pass, plus his free kicks, barring injury will be this year's player of the season :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

i agree with you mugsy but if krab wants to see him run with the ball past players, it
wont happen hes got no pace whatsoever. But he makes up for that in so many other aeras imo. :ayatollah:

He doesnt need to run past players and risk losing the ball when he can just pick out any player with one pass.

Paul Scholes never went past players, nor did Roy Keane, If Whitts could
glide past players like they werent there he'd be worth more than Gareth
Bale. Cant have everything.

Whittingham's best position is just behind the main strikers.

However, I agree he is better on the left of midfield rather than central midfield where Kiss and Gunnasson now rule.

I love him drifting in and taking charge. Its always a good sign. It means he's
on top of his game and feeling confident, and when he's there he calls all the
shots

Prefer him on the left but thought he was quiet on Tuesday.

Cant see how Malky is getting more out of him though, he has been our best player for the last two seasons.

I like your Golliwog Chief. But as you know you can't call him that no more, so you have to cut the name in half  But Wog ain't to bad
