If Ninian was so good

I have supported city since 1975 and loved the old ground but really like ccs to But seen many post here saying how intimidating the place was and how it scared the opposition and helped us win games
so my question is if it was so intimidating why was I watching lower league football mostly div 3 and 4 and seeing city loss so many games and the opposition not seeming that bothered . I have in the past spoken to a few ex pros who visited ninian and did not think it was a hard place to come and play
Yet at the new ground we have had two of the best league finishes in all the time I have supported city I know we have a bit more money etc

you have answered your own question,money,you cannot intimidate your way to success,but 2 equal teams whatever league,the crowd can be the deciding factor

i think NP only helped us in big games like leeds FA cup etc.
