Sounded like they all gave 110%, wouldnt of happened last year,
Think Annis ,we both got the 2-1 prediction right lol,
So much more confidence in the squad this year!!
Can't wait to come down for the Barnsley game soon!!
In Malky we trust, well done everyone for a great result against the top team

Completely agree except upfront was awful? Miller did his job, he got the service, and he did his service, can't want more, plus he worked very hard, good in the air, won free-kicks!!!

did you really think miller was awful, i thought he worked his nuts off, scored two goals and some of his movement was outstanding

Fantastic result tonight, i will be honest i was not expecting that. But once again the management and the team have dug in and come up with the goods. The Saints are a good side but we coped with them and our team and work ethic at present is second to none.
Hats off to the players again and also huge credit to Malkay and his team.
Great night, and great season so far.

Annis - As you mentioned recently, tonights performance reminded me of the good old days when there were no overpaid superstars going through the motions but a group of players that would bust a gut to wear that blue shirt. I'm very proud of them all tonight.

Thought Miller took his chances well tonight and chased every ball down and was clearly delighted with his goals, also to be fair to young joe mason I thought he again did well his running off the ball certainly drew their defenders out of position a few times, he looks lyk a gem of a find by malky in my opinion
Like you said though annis I'm chuffed to bits with a real gutsy team performance, up the city...!!

12 out of 10 for effort and that is what we Cardiff fans adore. I thought we'd lose tonight before the game but seeing us chase down every ball, I thought we got what we deserved. Brilliant night.

i really enjoyed tonight.. it was a great game, some good football... didnt think hudson had his best game though, many times he was caught the wrong side of the defender, and some of his heading decisions were needless, especially after two calls from marshall to leave it...
on a plus side, really like mason and thinks he offers alot more than earnshaw, his off the ball movement and running is great.

we would NOT have won last season...think most would have settled for a draw tonight. This year we got a team spirit with everyonr fighting for the cause,no prima donnas falling on their backside. Think Norwich & jacks last year, good team spirit ,is this our year to sneak up against the odds? got this feeling we`ll do it .

Why not ?????
That win was a massive result, as we all know the players are "Cardiff City" players not loanees who just wanna get paid n go out on the lash!!
Ok some loanees hav to come in.....but.......
Malky don't take any shit and has done wonders so far

Kiss has just completed 3 full games in a week coming off the back of injury so no wonder he faded a bit BUT he gave all , Mc Naughton again got battered for his efforts and Gerrard got a booking " explaining " to the ref the elbow from Lallana that put Kev out of the game !! Kiss and Gestede on 1 leg give more effort than Taiwo Im sorry to say and Miller worked hard tonite and had 2 very well taken goals ....... would Earnie have put those 2 chances away we must ask ?? Mason still finding his feet and last night played out of position as part of a front 2 .
Performance last night 6/10 ....... effort and committment 10/10

I really enjoyed the game last night and I thought overall we deserved the victory over a good Southampton team. Considering the number of players missing from the 16 man match day squad MM has started with this season we shouldn't be surprised that maybe in terms of quality it wasn't great. In terms of team spirit it was fantastic and what it shows is that MM has this work ethic, spirit and sheer determination running through the entire squad.
I was delighted coming away from the ground last night, not just because of the result, but everything that went into achieving it which for me was all rolled up into those 2 tackles by Filip Kiss a few minutes before he went off. Everything that young man had went into those tackles and he hurt himself in the process, thats the never give up attitude that runs throughtout the team and thats why it's such a pleasure to watch them.
One more game at Hull now before a two week break after which our walking wounded will return for the Ipswich game.
I can't wait.

We won tonight because of the superb work ethic that MM has brought to the club. We must be the hardest working team in the division, what a change from some of the overpaid ponces from last season

Nearly every game this season people are saying we wouldn't have won this last season. I'm starting to think we didn't win a game last season
