BREAKING NEWS Hudson to leave Newport County

Newport County have released a statement announcing that they have parted company with manager Anthony Hudson.

As a result of discussions today between Newport County Chairman Mr Chris Blight and our Manager Mr Anthony Hudson, the club wishes to announce that Mr Hudson will no longer continue in the role as Manager of Newport County AFC. The Assistant Manager, Mr Lee Harrison, together with our player coach Mr Wayne Hatswell, have accepted the short term role of managing the squad whilst endeavours are made to select a new manager. The club is intent on filling the vacant post with a suitable applicant as quickly as possible, thank Mr Anthony Hudson for his time and effort at Newport County AFC and wish him every success for the future.
