That guy hasnt got a clue. no way on this earth would mayweather have earned $70m for his fight against ortiz.

And i strongly doubt that he would turn down $60m to fight pacquiao. even if it was a 50/50 split. and this fella is not even taking into account the sum of money needed to be paid out to cover the cost of such a fight.

Just my opinion anyway ;)

The only reason Mayweather is avoiding Manny is because he knows Pacquiao will tear him a new arsehole

boxingsocialist.com or @FloydMayweather(twitter) TELLS YOU THAT MAYWEATHER ORTIZ DID 1.7M PPV HIT IN U.S....You can also check HBO. and at $59.99 a pop you're right he didnt earn $70m, it was slightly more.
As for Pacman tearing Mayweather a new arsehole....DOUBT IT VERY MUCH...
What boxing have you been watching that allowed you to come to that conclusion?
MP struggles with counter punchers ( see the previous Marquez fights) and FM is the best defensive counter puncher on planet, so IMO i dont see Manny tearing any new arseholes in this one...
Back to the O.P the guy in video misses one richer option for Mayweather and thats Amir Kahn,Already very popular in the U.S due to a very large pakistani community in the country, he could amass huge PPV buys if he fought Floyd .

Floyd made 25 milliion that was his cut from the percentage of ppv's sold. He does not get a cut of the gate under his agreement with GBP.

Do you honestly believe that HBO and GBP just allow Floyd to keep 90% of PPV money? Wake up son.

Stop listen to the likes of Dwyer and actually use some common sense. Stop reading Boxing scene and the likes. I dont know where you get your info about Amir Khan from because he is not a star in the states, he is just another boxer nobody on the street recognises. There is a reason Khan isnt on HBO ppv.

money is king I know. However boxing is always about legacy. Mayweather will never be regarded as an all time great if he ducks pacman. This is why Clay/Ali is the all time great fighter he beat everyone put in front of him. Ok he lost a few but came back and whooped them

My thought immediately. 90% of the money brought in isnt going straight into the hands of mayweather. and personally I think the FM would actually beat pacquiao, especially on MP current form.

But saying that i wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of this........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwj5lNWZPpQ :o

I certainly dont think that manny will tear floyd a new arsehole, but freddy roach does seem to be the man (if anyone) who knows how to beat floyd. He almost done it with oscar de lahoya and by the time they fought oscar certainly wasnt the fighter he once was. It would be an intriguing fight as both fighters are capable of adapting in the ring, but as one poster said if floyd doesn't take this fight it will definitely leave question marks over his legacy

DIDNT SAY HE WAS A STAR JUST SAID HE WAS VERY POPULAR WITHIN A VERY LARGE PAKISTANI COMMUNITY,of which im sure alot of them would buy PPV if it was Amir Khan v Money May.

HBO are very smart when it comes to promoting fighters they have years of experience and they know that they need to let a fighter build up a viewing fan base before switching to PPV. Ricky Hatton,Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis had alot of their fights on normal HBO/Showtime before getting the Marquee names on PPV.

mayweather wont even fight khan, let alone fight pacman

he's a pussy he's trying to put off the khan fight its not is mayweathers best interest to prolong a fight 18 months when he's not far off the wrong side of 30 he's already showing signs of weakness whether its his controversial lifestyle and lack of training in beetween fights or his age his legacy is up,
