Mini update 28/09/11

Wed Sep 28, 2011 8:05 pm

City have taken delivery of the heat lamps that help the grass grow on the pitch, the cost of the lamps is £300k, the club has received sponsorship to help with the cost.

The lights are currently under the stand in CCS.

Also Southampton brought 1,687 to the stadium tonight.

You going to share the names of the loan targets that wanted to much money?

Or any names of people we have been chasing?

Thanks Carl....

Good bunch came up from Southampton tonight. All in good spirit and comlimentary on the way out. They (the ones I spoke to at least) reckoned we spoiled their usual game and they were 'snatching' at half chances they might have taken in other games ;)

But didn't we just KNOW that bloody goal was going to make it a nervy ending, eh?? Afterall, THIS is Cardiff City FC

Grass growing heat lamp is a bluebird woooo! :ayatollah:

So the club paid 300k for something to sit on the pitch for large amounts of time while grass grows around it?

What the f**k were we paying bothroyd for then?

Surely any loan targets are already under contract at their clubs and so can hardly expect to pick up a wage rise when they go out on loan?

It seems to me that any haggling over money would be with the players club as to what percentage of his wages we have to pay them.

its not just wages these days as most clubs want to charge a loan fee as well on top of any agreement for percentages of wages paid.
Im just glad malky is not bringing in for the sake of it.
