ANNIS: RE BOOKS

Mon Sep 26, 2011 7:27 pm

I met annis a few months back when he dropped round 3 books to a flat in cyncoed.

what a true gent, could of stayed and chatted all day!!!

i have just returned from my summer holidays and completed the books - shattered dreams and diary of the real soul crew one and two.

just like to say what a brilliant read shattered dreams was, i have only been a season ticket holder for the last two years, because i have played football at a decent level so couldnt attend matches regular, but cardiff has always been my team.

i thought the book gave indepth knowledge about the club and sam which to be honest i was totally oblivious to, i really enjoyed it ( with the misses sunbathing all the time i finished it in a day or two... i was hooked).

annis - are you still close to sam and friendly or have you grown apart?

The both diaries of the soul crew were also a fantastic read, im not a hooligan in any way, but understand from these books that people do get caught up in trouble and have to defend themselves. i would get random stares from people down at the pool when out of the blue i would burst out laughing.... a must read just because of the funny storys!!!

all the guys storys were brilliant but big gwyn, big sam and chelsea pat were some of my favourites.

if anyone is looking for something to read or like me something to do while the misses sunbathes then they are a must.

i will also be purchasing "my story" and gwyns valley rams ( being from the valleys im gutted i wasnt following cardiff home and away when these buses were running in their hay day)

Hi Whitt,

Hope you had a good holiday, thank you for taking the time to post about my books and I am really glad you enjoyed them.
Yes I am still friends with Sam and I still say what I feel to him, I don't bow down to him. Sam knows that I say what I feel even if it upsets him, Sam follows every result regarding City.
Glad the lads books brought a smile to you and a few laughs. My Story is written by myself only and no other lads, just Carls help.
Thank you once again
