Best shopping experience ever

1-Went to Emporio Armani in Brompton Road early 90's when I had dosh with the Wife and kids, bought quite a Bit was given free drinks for the kids. superb Treated like a King.
2- Went to the shop Cruise in Glasgow 94ISH (best shop ever) bought a si Jumper and In walks Gazza he spent 14k in there very quickly including a horrible Bright Man City Blue suit. I just sat their watching
3-Pavillion 1986 Buying a top and In walks Mick Hucknall who was on Tour at the timehe bought the shop up.
Cracking.

One of my favourite shopping trips has to be the as a naive 17 year old who was just starting to get into the casual scene...
We were playing Huddersfield away on a Tuesday night back in April 2001. It was cracking weather and the game had been rescheduled after getting called off earlier on in the season.
Went shopping a couple of days before to Swindon and Bristol, had been doing a ton of overtime in work so bought a round neck SI Sweater, Navy Henri Lloyd Jeans, Sky Blue Aquascutum Polo with a pair of White / Silver Borg Elite's
Thought I was the dogs danglies at the time!
Ohhhh how times change and how hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I also remember going into Woodies one afternoon and seeing a SI Limited Edition Metal Shell Jacket [the turqoise one with the White Patch] circa 2003.
It was the most beautiful jacket I'd ever seen, spent all afternoon wandering around town trying to talk myself into buying it. I eventually went back later on in the day to get it. I just remember feeling dead guilty as it was £600.
First time I wore it was QPR away on a Friday night when we won 4-1 or 4-0, ended up ripping it against the railings outside the away end with the old bill charged us.
Years ago, I also found a Red CP Company Mille Miglia sweater in the TK Maxx in town for £75, my eyes almost fell out of my skull and I couldn't get it to the checkout quick enough!!!
Got class shopping memories from over the years. To some people it may sound sad, but I don't care - you really can't beat it! I've always wanted my own clothing range because of my love for clothes of the years and that's why I've finally started to get 12th Man off the ground!
