" PR Court Case "

Let's cut out the emotional reaction and consider that Carl's interview with Ridsdale included:-

PR – Well, I will choose my words carefully here but I got an absolute firm commitment from the Malaysians that the first few millions of pounds would be coming in before the end of 2009, in writing I got that, but as you know it didn’t come in until the summer of 2010 and the delay in the cash coming in was the one that caused a few financial hiccups towards the end of my reign but we planned on the money that they had committed to put in and I still got the written confirmation from TG that it would be in and it would be in before the end of 2009, so yes I expected earlier, I didn’t expect any more than they ultimately put in but I expected an initial payment in the millions of pounds some six months or so before it arrived.

Plenty of fans have said that if PR had come out with a statement such as "buy your season ticket early to save us from administration" they would have bought their ticket. So what made PR come up with the golden ticket offer? Either
(a) He was utterly stupid and deliberately tried to defraud the fans, ignoring the potential for fans reaction and the legal consequences. OR
(b) He genuinely believed the Malaysians were committed to investing before the end of 2009 and the club could use the ticket money to buy players, but the Malaysians let him down. OR
(c) He was incompetent as the Malaysians offer contained conditions and he ignored the club not meeting the conditions. Or the Malaysians offer was only a possibility, but he took it as a firm commitment.

Personally I don't believe he was (a) as it would mean his personal destruction and conviction. So the question is was he (b) let down or (c) incompetent. The court case will be interesting as there must be a lot riding on the evidence PR claims to have.

If the court case accepts PR's evidence as genuine and valid, i.e. scenario (b) then Carl's interview will have been as big as some suggested as it means that (1) PR was genuine and (2) the Malaysians caused the club big problems.

My opinion is we needed money and this is all he could think of after selling everything off like compass deals, ray ransom stupid inflation. It was a con simple as that.

The court will decide if a con or not.

Interesting that PR the only one charged. Normally the club would be charged.

The court do f**k all in life.
It certainly was a con we know that.

I've had PR'd preps messaging me on Twitter saying they will proceed with legal action I just bloked them
