St joes is near to you but try the vic park in canton opp peacocks down the lane. Good gym ask for terry

Ronnies Gym, Grand Ave, Ely.. The most famous gym in Cardiff.

No idea where you live, but if it is near the Caerphilly area my old man runs a club and has been for 50 years. He has produced numerous Welsh Schoolboy and senior champions.

Try kick Boxing.....
western leisure centre, ely, on Thur evenings 6.30-7.30...go for a taster and the session will prob be free (normally £4) ask for Paula/jas
not massive class, kids get good tuition and a lot of one to one. They have classes every day in different locations but I do not know what other areas in cardiff (White Star LC in Splott rings a bell). Tue evening in Barry 6-7...but that's no good to you.

If he's serious about boxing, then get hold of Pat Malloy at Splott Boys Club or Pat Thomas in Fairwater. Nobody in Rhiwbina as far as I know.

Yeah splott abc I went there. 1 of the best gyms in wales for producing champions! Some great boys there and lee shelby fought from there ( there is a thread about him winning titles on here) and if anyone knows denzil lawrance the kick boxer he sent his son there so he knows how good the gym is ! I think its only £5 a week too

Funny enough, there's now a boxing club at Denzil's place (Ultimate Fitness Centre) run by Gary Pemberton on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 4.30 to 6.00 and it's called Roath Boxing Club.
