Well, if your in llanrumney high school with rhodes (Or burton, he's worse...) as your teacher he won't be impressed.

You need a banner and content bar at the top of the page.

Different background kinda plain (Try uploading the clubs badge to the background picture).

Better picture, pixels kinda dodgy.

Put in some headlines with different colours underlines etc etc.

Good luck.

Burtons a knob thats why i took ICT with rhodes, got an A on it too.

Thanks mate apreciate the review its still a work in progress. Nothing specific just had to make a site on our choosen topic i want to add banners and mabye a couple of drop down boxes and get more pics and info

Getting everything in the right position is a pain in the ass. I run a Website and believe me, it doesn't help when you got OCD and everything must be in the right position. Just try and make it pleasing on the eye, and easy for the "Customer" to read through. They want things to be spread out, and things to catch their eyes so they HAVE to read it.

Heres the Website I run http://croeserwathletic.page.tl/, It's bright, attractive, and catches your eye, even though It hasn't got many pictures at all. Hope It helps

Firstly may I say that the website is really going to look good.

I was just wondering one of my ideas has always wanted to open a clothes shop and have heard that its difficult to get the acceptance from the brands to stock their clothes.

Is that true..?

Yes mate, it's really difficult.

Some brands won't let retailers stock their clothes depending on other labels the store may also stock - that would "in their eyes" devalue their brand.

For example Prada wouldn't let a store stock it's clothing if the store also stocked Lonsdale etc... [extreme example I know]

There are however agents that deal as reps for brands internationally and it's possible to acquire clothing from these reps. It's called the Grey Market. That's how online retailers such as Sakis and BB Clothing are able to stock many different brands.

When you buy a Stone Island / CP Company product from some retailers, they will cut out the ART number on the label - this is so that the product cannot be traced back to the agent that supplied the store.

That's the trouble with schools, they teach kids how to use an editor or an online free hosted website where you just choose colours and pictures.

I have been building sites professionally for some huge clients in both the private and public sector since 1994 and it pays well to learn well formed and valid HTML and CSS rather than using a tool which you have limited control over and outputs poor code.

Good to see you are interested in the web TrueBlue7, but to work in this industry you need to know code and by that I mean HTML, CSS and Javascript as a solid grounding.

Your site uses tables for layout which is a very old (and problematic) way of doing things. It would confuse someone using a device to access content via a speech reader (blind/partially sighted users) as it would read out every table cell before giving an audio description of any content. it is also a nightmare to maintain!

Have you looked at maybe using a CMS like Wordpress for your site? It's easy to use. You can get a self hosted wordpress site (wordpress.org) or a free hosted wordpress site (wordpress.com). If you have a domain name already registered you can transfer it to any of these.

The self hosted one is a little technical to set up as you have to download the core files and upload them to a server via FTP. You can then create your own theme (providing you know a little HTML and CSS) or grab the free wordpress.com one where you can customize the theme via a user interface (no uploading or downloading core files) - less technical. It outputs quality code too and has good SEO.
