Blackpool great performance

I know i'm a couple of days late commenting but i only got home around 5pm last night and i was absolutely knackered and didn't get online. Anyway thought we were superb at Blackpool and on another day would have won at least 4-1 we were really dominant and Blackpool could not deal with our 5 man midfield who flooded forward in support of Miller. Our support was superb throughout and kept Blackpool very quiet except for their incessant drumming which got on my bloody nerves but did nothing to galvanise their support.

On the subject of Blackpool and their fans total respect to the Club for holding a minutes silence for the dead miners which was impeccably observed by both sets of fans.

On the pitch both Gunnarson and Whitts were immense along with Cowie and Conway my only gripe being that if Conway had more pace we would definitely have won the game because the number of times he was released into space was incredible and with a little more pace he would have been in on goal. Got to say we looked far more effective playing Miller on his own up front but it's still a worry that he's not puting his chances away. A point at Blackpool is a very good point but based on Saturdays performance it's got to be viewed as 2 points dropped although Kevin Phillips strike was quality and it's what he does best.

Moving on what does Malky do does he go back to Miller and Earnie up top or does he player on his own where he and the team looked far more effective? I also believe we nned to get some pace in the side a quick winger and a strong target man (Would love to see Fuller from Stoke) and based on Saturdays performance we can defo' finish top 6 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
