I was a big Chris Burke fan, I was very disappointed when he left, but I heard it was due to DJ and him not getting on that he had looked else where.

He left because his contract ran out

its a pity we didnt know the truth thou,i felt let down when we all thought he was going back to be near his son,and went all the way to birmingham.

Im sure he went on record with the eggo, saying he wanted to stay with city for life! His reaction when we lost to reading was enough to confirm it, he was heart broken like the rest of us

Would never boo him as I liked him as a player and was a good guy too, but did'nt he really leave for same reason as most , ambition and money? showed he has not affiliation to the club by moving to another Championship club

He was shite last and did not deserve a new improved contract. simples.
