Walking out to that sort of support

Must make our players feel 10 ft tall.

I wonder how many Blackpool players were looking over and thinking 'I'd love to be playing for Cardiff, with that lot backing me'

Tim,

In the old days, other teams players always said how great our away support was and were very envious of us :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It was a sell out yesterday.

I had to go to the Blackpool ticket office as 3 of my tickets were blocked. There were some home supporters trying to by tickets in there and were gobsmacked when told it was a sell out. It was like this had never hsppened before. I just could not resist it as I left and said to them "your only here for the Cardiff".

How was it a sell out? The home half of our stand was empty.

It was closed for safety reasons, they are doing some building work in the corner.

We gave them a couple of renditions of that yesterday.

The support was brilliant, from walking through the town to the ground singing 'Men of Harlech' and other City songs, until well after the final whistle.

Huge numbers as well considering what a long trip it is.

Our support certainly was brilliant. Bit of concern, though, when the stewards and police told us as late as quarter to two that the game was in doubt, and that one more downpour would have made the pitch unplayable. That's why they did not open the turnstiles until just after two.Surprised that a recent Premier League club could find themselves in that situation. Imagine if it had been called off that late. People would not have been very happy.

Nice touch to come over and do the last part of the warm up right in front of us, coundnt see any other reason behind it other than to acknowledge us and get the support more fired up. Don't think that would have happened last year! :ayatollah:
