we had way too many loans last season. We've got 1 loanee so far, another 3 or 4 won't hurt :ayatollah:

Am I wrong, doesn't the loanee get the same bucks as he would if he didn't come to us but stayed with his own club? We pay a percentage of his wage or possibly even the whole amount but does that player gain anything financially from a loan?
I believe some of the younger loanees do put the effort in possibly thinking a permenant move could be on the cards if he feels as though he may not get too many opportunities with his parent club.

CF64 BLUE, you're spot on there fella, loans are brilliant as long as they are used properly and if they turn out to be a great asset to our club then a permanent move would be well on the cards especially if that player is not in the parent clubs 25. I disagree in loaning players though if they come here just to gain match fitness and then f**koff back to there club  we had a few of them last season and in the past.

beattie is on a free so surely we could of had him by now and not wait for the window

Diouf was a regular at Bolton (I think, could've been Blackburn) last season, so probably won't drop down a league now - could possibly move abroad.

Mame was loaned out to either Blackburn or Bolton, and El Hadji played for Blackburn - In fact, I think they both played for Blackburn last season?
