I beleive the whole of England is Welsh land, stolen from us by the Germanic invaders. We are the original Britons.
The Saxons came roughly 1500 years ago, and stole our land.
The Normans were not French, they were Vikings who established a feifdom in northern France. They had little impact on the population, they just took over power. For sure the Romans did some shagging with the original Britons, that was before the English came.
I just like winding the English up by calling them Germans and saying it's our land, but a lot of them are from the same stock as us anyway.
