James Beattie definitely, the kind of player we are crying out for. Not sure McFadden will offer any more than Earnie or Miller though

Beattie was at Blackpool on loan last season , surprized he hasnt gone back there ?

A fit Beattie would be great.

A fit McFadden would be a smashing player. He would offer plenty different to Earnie & Miller, he's a completley different type of player.

Not so sure about Beattie - though he does have something to prove. His stint at Rangers was a disaster. Both would want big bucks though.

James Beattie would be a huge signing for us. Big, strong target man but can also play.

I'd sign him up straight away!

As long as their wages aren't crazy I'd sign them up. Both could offer the team something different, Beattie could link well with either Earnie or Miller and McFadden could be utilised as a left winger or on the left of a front 3 like he used to play for Brum and was very effective.

Yes agree,a fit Beattie would be an asset to us as we have at present no Ariel presence whatsoever,can Earnie and Miller play together ,my opinion is no ,it's one or other along side a big guy.
