Considering the financial mess we are also fighting to get sorted it has not been a bad window for us…by the way getting a player like Bellamy was a one off, made possible by circumstances that were very rare…we should be grateful for that…the fact that he has gone to a huge club like Liverpool is testament to that fact…hopefully the 30K a week will be enough to entice a few quality players on loan

Excellent post. I've been to every game this season except Oxford. This has been a very good start. The only bad game was against Brighton, who are no mugs. Bellamy was well out of sorts for Wales against Australia.

Spot on there Corky and when you also consider that the loss to Brighton at home was more or less selfy inflicted by poor defending and mistakes on the night then all is good , hopefully now MM can get 2 or 3 quality loans in .

Couldnt agree more...finally we have a realistic view & pointers for genuine optimism from an experienced fan whos supported the City pre FA Cup run year! We have to appreciate where we have come from, the challenges we've had to tackle recently (both financially and in terms of resources.

January is a good point also, with a bit of luck we'll get a bit of quality in the emergency window, leaving funds to kick on in January. Malky knows this is a marathon and we have a squad good enough to last up until January - the standard of players that Malky has brought in are very high for our level, we shouldnt forget that.
