No probs as long as we get three good loan signings

I Think most championship clubs are waiting for loan deals

We can still loan out Gerrard Gypes Taiwo

I for one am quite happy with what we've got so far. Would be more worried if we were buying rubbish for the sake of buying to be honest.
Malky has done a good job in my opinion having been put in the position of having to completely rebuild the team.
I'm thinking the team will continue to improve the more they play together and then the club will take stock in January and maybe strengthen in January.

WE JUST CLEARED OUT 9 f*cking PLAYERS  A top half finish in the table wont be going backwards cause Malky had to, rebuild the sqaud, get them to gel (which they almost have) and get the right attitude amongst the players...WHICH HE HAS.

There seems to be a lot of negativity in the whole of football these days. Cos leicester, ipswich and w ham are spending lots - it is disheartening to fans here. I would like a winger and a striker tbh. But we have to work within our means. The spend and bust days are all over. We have a great man in MM - the rebuild will continue. I'm sure MM won't panic sign. I was at portsmouth and we should have won. We are further in carling than last season and we have players that play for each other - no need to be negative.

In fact - I'm positive that we are on the right track.
We must remember that the shite in this squad is inherited and on big wages too -

I fancy we could have a cup run this year.
Wouldn't mind that jordon rose? Huddersfield striker - he's the new mackail smith :ayatollah:

It's good to clear out the dead wood and bring in players with the right attitude but we need quality

Mate I really have to bite my Tongue here because I really am trying to be positive but all this talk of having 20 million for transfers and wages looks like a load of nonsense because the amount of players we have shifted out and the sensible wages our current players are on, no way that comes to 20 million!! It does look like there is no ambition from the board!! But I will try to believe in mm and push the team we have as far as they can go!!

and rightly so carl
malky did say in his press conference last week that all the free transfers he was targeting were gone now and he would be looking at loans.
why should he panic and bring players in just to appease fickle fans.
people have short memories and should remember the crap jones brought in the january window one of which parkin we are stuck with because of jones ridiculous over the top wage structure which makes him impossible to move on without paying some of his wages to the buying club

apart from ramsey and bellars, loans have been a let down for city over the years particularly last season, i dislike the loan system immensely, its messy and unpredictable and contains a lot of demotivated players at crossroads in their careers. We need to be very careful which loanees we bring in.

in fairness to malky in his press conference he did say that he always investigates the reason a player is available to loan before making a move for him.

From a technical view Routledge was a good loan, just couldn't be extended.

As was Chopra at a time when needed

Dave Jones basically had to use loans last year and was clearly getting mostly misses.

I take your point but our single loan this year Kiss, is of great pedigree and MM has done well in the loan market before.

and rightly so, too many teams in the mix unless we had silly money to spend, this year is not the year to chase, think about it!

Please explain how we are going backwards again. 5 games gone and we are 7th in the table. Malky has been saying for weeks that we will bring players in when the loan window opens.
