New team needs time to gel. Good defensive players, a good midfield and decent forwards.

This season is a transformation season with the number of players that have left and the number of players we've brought in. Anyone who is expecting Malky to do better than Dave Jones in his first season when he's had to assemble a brand new team with limited resources is silly imo. We have only lost once this season and losing Kiss and Gunnarsson at the same time was a massive blow.

We now have a team of workaholics that will give everything on the pitch, that's all I ask for being a City fan. Our squad still needs to be strengthened and it will be, we will only improve and get better as the season goes on. We are currently sixth and are in a decent position, it's going to be a long slog, but Malky has done a very decent job so far and I have every confidence in him bringing in the right players to improve us further. I am confident we will progess as the season goes on, not regress like we continually did under our previous manager.

So by kick-off for the next game I would imagine our squad will be 26/27 players so depth is not really an issue, but quality in depth is and we need wide men really more than anything.

Apart from the obvious goalscoring threat (which was intermittant, depending
on Craigs fitness or Jays attitude)... where are we worse off??

I agree every player was hit and miss last season but we still managed to finish in the play offs, last season we had too many stand out players that couldnt play as a team, imo we need a stand out player this year buy havent got 1, wen we hit a bad patch this season who would we look to too get us through it, looking at the squad I cant see ne1....i realy do hope I wrong and sum1 will realy shine, but I think we need 2 big loan signings atleast.
