Such an amount? He's been previously rated in the £3m bracket.

Not played since November? He was injured, requiring surgery. Coventry have moved on at the back, presumably not wanting Turner to be rushed back.

Reason Turner is worth so much is that at 22 last year he was outstanding. Top of ACTIM stats and gave Bothroyd nightmares. if it wasn't for his injury he'd be £3-£4M.

I have never been "up in arms" with Dave Jones or Malky Mackay, you on the contrary are "up in arms" with everything to do with cardiff city, whether it be dave jones, the appointment of malky, malky's tactics, malky's signings, the malaysians etc. And people have already answered why he cost that much, cos if he wasn't injured he would cost 4 million and wouldn't even be on our radar!

From what I saw with my own eyes he looks a real prospect. Isn't this what most of us said we should be doing last year -investing in promising young players with more to offer. We need to bring players in who can be developed to Premiership quality. Some may make it, some not, but the likes of Conway, Taylor, Turner, Mason, Kiss and Gunnarrson have all got something worth working on.

Not injured anymore has been in full training and was just 3 reserve games away from a full start for Coventry. So wont be long before we see him in a Bloobirds shirt

Bellamy would be an even bigger one £30k a week for a player in his 30's with a long, long history of injuries.

People are slagging me off for questioning the fact that we are buying an injured player yet if Dave Jones brought an injured player the same people would be up in arms!!!!

He also brought in multiple loan players without giving them medicals

Mackay has BOUGHT an outstanding prospect, having assured the club,
the Doctors.. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY...the clubs INSURANCE Co.
that he is going to be 100%.. Mackay is not an idiot.. he knows that
Turner is going to be subject to a very tough training regime here.
Do you really think he has just gone in there with his fingers crossed?
