Clev v Bellew

Following Bellew's sprouting of total shite in yesterdays press conference whilst wearing his Everton top, Barrie Macauliffe has offered to sort Clev out with a new City top as a comeback for the next conference.

Not only would I love to see Clev smash the arrogant Scouse tw*t up, but if he wore a City top on the way to the ring or in the pre-match press conference that would be quality - with him and Calzaghe 2 World Champ supporters

Clev will have his chin tested in this one, no doubt about it Bellew can bang.
But Clev is a very classy fighter when he wants to be, and talk of him facing Bhop really does whet the appetite. If Clev can get over the pond and beat Bhop , i believe that the yanks will take to him rather quickly. In recent times British fighters stock has risen in U.S thanx to the exploits of Hatton Calzaghe Kahn and Froch especially, Clev could do well for himself if he puts in a few steller perfomances state side.. first things first though.

i think if clev fights smart this is an easy nights work for him. really think bellew is shite and will be found out at this level. also feel his punching power could be a myth. once clev developed into a proper man he was knocking all the opposition out at the level bellew has been fighting. lets see if he can carry it up to world level. i seriously think hes just a loud mouth scouse tw*t who doesnt deserve a world title shot and will get found out easily in this fight. aslong as clev keeps his head in the hostile atmosphere of liverpool ofcourse!!! would love to see a decent number of city fans go up and back him!

The difference is Clev is a city fan, Calzaghe is not.

I went to last years fight in the echo arena took the mrs we went for the weekend done some shopping. When he beat that stand in bloke for the internediate - tbh I was suprised he got the decision, the scousers were supporting him intially but booed when he won on points. If he boxes like that against bellew I fear he'll struggle hopefully he'll be on his best form.
Degale was fighting the local boy Paul Smith that night on the top billing end of night and it was very partisan as you'd expect. When Degale won it started kicking off all around the arena major fights in several places, so if I go I'm keeping my head down!
Think I had the tickets on ticket master £50 in the cheap seats - not out yet this time i think.
