One August 29, 2011 it was announced that Eddie is in negotiations with Aberdeen with a view to signing a short-term contract with the SPL club. He feels he could maybe learn something & find his goal scoring form from their dynamic striker Darren Mackie, as he has always been a great admirer of him & how he can volley the ball so cleanly into his own face.
