Anywhere I can buy an old arcade cabinet in Cardiff?

I am going to build my own arcade machine, but I need a cabinet as a starting point, any ideas apart from eBay?

Can't help, but think that is a class idea mate. What games are you putting in it?

gonna put a pc in there, with a load of emulators, mame, snes etc, seems pretty easy, but its getting hold of a cabinet. ebay they are really expensive

this chap has a cardiff number, but i know ones like this are being sold at between £400-£1k which is far too much for me!

Try Jacobs Market at the end of St Mary Street - may not be able to get it there but with so many people selling odds and ends you my get a few ideas and contact numbers

not trying to get it cheaply, i just need to get an old cabinet that I can build the machine etc myself then. as opposed to paying upto £1k for one!!

is there anyway you can do it with a xbox 360 as i have a spare

i dont think you can with a 360 mate, but you can with an old xbox, it will do the lot, the only restriction is disk space. im looking at prob spending £150 for a cabinet, i have a pc that isnt used, and then need to look at an ipac, which is an interface that will allow the joystick/buttons to be used.

go to the amusment arcades down barry island or porthcawl. bet theres plenty with broken machines out the back that they`d be glad to get rid of
