but now that DJs gone, would you like to see Cardiff City Football Club try to sign Seyi ???? tell me what you think !

At the moment we are lacking defensive cover in midfield but we do have Gunarrson and Kiss to come in.

God no.

Oli was not special last season, not at all.

aint he earning 27,000 a week at hull,i think we were paying around 15,000 towards it,on those type of wages there is no chance him coming back

Started the season very well alongside drinkwater, Then Danny got injured and Oli was very hit and miss throughout the rest of the season.
Gunnarson and Kiss will do far better for us in my opinion.

i couldnt disagree more with the criticism of Oli last season
could someone please explain to me what he did that was so wrong, when he played brilliantly every time he was played in his proper position of defensive midfield, and not very well WHEN PLAYED OUT OF POSITION, in attacking midfield... seriously guys, he was played out of position, he is a Premier League class defensive midfielder.
dont give me the he was hit and miss rubbish, he played poorly only when in his wrong position, thats why we didnt see the best of him, and thats the only reason why.

As you say he was hit and miss, sometimes looked a top top player othertimes a bit of a donkey. He got a better goal return than most our midfielders in recent years.

If he was premier league class mate he would be playing in the premier league dont you think ? He is rotting in Hull's reserves whilst they are playing rubbish.
I will admit he was a lot better than we have had for many a year that is beacuse central midfield has been very poor for years.

theres plenty of players playing outside the top flight who are, in my opinion, good enough
Nicky Maynard, Andy King, Craig Mackail-Smith, Oli to name but a few
Super Kev is another one, he's clearly good enough yet a Premier League team hasnt taken a punt on him
but i do see your point though mate, and where youre coming from

he could be a useful addition if used more rotationly,
he run himself into the ground maybe doesn't have the legs and it showed , but he could put in a few games maybe
Mon Aug 22, 2011 6:39 am
currently where is oli,
hes not listed on the hull website under playing sqaud, hasnt even been on the bench for them this yr...
he did score 6 goals last yr from set pieces. he was abit inconsistent had great games and very dull games, however if he was available for free.. wouldnt be a bad player to bring on for say mason if we are infront and want to close up shop...
squad maybe...
1st team prob not...
free .. why not..

If I lived on another planet and drank my own urine, I would say yes. But I don't.
He started off well last season but was one of the players who went missing when we needed him most. It would have been interesting to see how Drinkwater would have done if he hadn't have been injured

He was great in the first half of the season, i think his form dipped towards the end but when he got the right head on he can do well, i'd love to see him back
Mon Aug 22, 2011 6:24 pm
Oli played in his position would be a great addition rock solid

First game i caught last season was home game against inbred scum, after ten minutes i turned to the guy alongside me and asked whos that in midfield hes like Patrick Viera. After this comment Oli disappeared and the rest is history, not one to roll up his sleeves when things not going well as per Jay, Jlloyd, JET, but all through run in Mcnaughton played like a back 4 on his own what a player, dont get me started on Bywater "cock". The faith is being kept and in Malky i trust, lets get behind the team good and bad, rough and smooth we are The City AND OUR DAY IN THE SUN WILL COME AGAIN

I'd love to see him back.
He seemed like one of the players from last yearthat didn't have an ego problem and would fit into this years squad.
