Quite interesting reading through all the threads on your forum and the dislike to your Manager Dave Jones to which I am a little suprised at considering you are contending for a promotion place to the Premiership on what appears to have been on a very limited budget. Where does the distaste towards Dave Jones come from? I would have thought the reality of the situation and a probable play off play this season would have been suffice?

Not everyone on this board dislikes Dave Jones! I for one am right behind him, he's not perfect but as you say we are in a play off position and nearly every home match we play good entertaining football. Not good enough for some though.

The main gripe fans have with Dave Jones is that he is imprisoned by the 442 formation. He has no other option that he adopts believing one size fits all. Either that or he is simply is unable to devise one. He is tactically naive, very stubborn and unteachable, dismissing fans' opinions as they, 'have never played the game professionally.' But then Mourhino and Wenger only managed 12 pro games between them, and that was in Div 2. There again look at the number of players who did but were awful managers.

Dave Jones is doing a good job at Cardiff City - and is getting better year on year.....

Therefore, i won't be turning against him just for losing a couple of games.....

He got us to Wembley, finished highest last year, signed some of our favourite players! and our best results are coming under Jones. Until something is drastically going wrong and we slump into relegation there is no need to replace an experienced manager?

IN MY OPINION He is arrogant, has no passion for our Club, no tactics when things go wrong,He says every year this is his best ever team, He bottles it at the final hurdle every year.

In 90 games when we have gone 1 nil down under DJ he has come back to win 5 lol.

Entertaining football, competing at the top each year on a limited budget, made us money in the transfer window, didn't just say things to keep the media happy and was honest etc.

That still happened under Malky and will happen under any manager that wants his players to respect him. If a manager goes full lock down on players when they want to let off steam then the players will start to become disillusioned with the manager. Loads of players were out drinking during our promotion season with Malky.

DJ was a lazy manager who spent far too much time "out of the office" he could never inspire a crowd of fans , let alone inspire the team. I would hate to see him back personally.

He had a good budget in 2010/11 with VT's initial support but we fell short.
