TIME TO LAY OFF NAYLOR

Thu Aug 11, 2011 6:41 pm

ok,he quite obviously had a very bad 10/11 but dave jones didnt do him no favours by leaving him in the side when his confidence was clearly shot,
naylors had a very good pre season and put a decent shift in last night against oxford.I think its time for us to draw a line on his disappointing first season and show him some proper cardiff city support.

naylor is a bluebird :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sorry but if Naylor continues playing shite MM should sell him because if he isnt upto the level then he is no good to us & its not just the fans other managers set up there side to go at naylor last season as they seen him as the weak link in our team aswell. .

Anyway Taylor will be number 1 from now on.

I said it when we signed him he will be a big player for us this season and come up with a few goals aswell. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sorry you have to remember our fan base, they would have got shot of Whitts years ago because of the immediate impression that is made. Very tough to change Cardiff fan's minds, unfortunately.

Give him a chance, new manager, new start ... Maybe some good man management could bring better results!

totally agree, having attended all citys preseason matches(except in spain) it cant be denied that naylor has done well,he looks sharp and fit and malkys not a mug so he muast consider naylor too be a squad player

He isn't really good enough but deserves a chance if MM plays him.
Very Average against Oxford, silly mistakes but does go forward well. I have preferred Taylor at LB and Taylor LW myself.

He was distinctly average last night which is a massive improvement on last season.

On a serious note though whilst he is wearing the shirt and giving 100% he deserves our support.

although i agree with laying off him he cost us too many games last season from goals coming from down his side , i was at the Bristol City away game last season John Stead took it round him like he wasnt there finished 4-0 i can recall he was woeful that game

If he makes the match day squad, I will supoort him along with the other 15 players.

If he makes the squad, it is because he is working hard in training and MM obviously feels he is good enough to play.

In Malky we trust! :ayatollah:

Not asking much from Taylor then Luke. :D I know what you meant.

Back to the topic. Now we have a new manager I would like to see all our "strugglers" be given another chance. Something tells me MM will get more out of them.

Naylor has often been exposed, same as Kennedy because of the left midfielder not offering enough support. Every team for the last few years has attacked our left side because it was a lot weaker than the far stronger McNaughton/Burke partnership on the right.

Lay off him, get behind him. If Whittingham keeps up his new found work rate we may not be so weak down that side anymore
