Oh for fucks sake, (back to football)

I expect I might be on my own here but what a load of bollocks.

I go to the Football to watch a Football match not a concert and if I want to go in the ground and have a Pint Ill go in to have a beer, talk to the lads about the GAME, FOOTBALL and stuff in general.

Now it seems that Ill have to listen to some racket from a band playing on a stage under the concourse and probably wont be able to here anyone speak.

Im struggling to believe that when asked what would improve the 'FOOTBALL' Matchday Experience people overwhelmingly said they would like Live Bands.

'So make sure you get down to the CCS early this Sunday to soak up the pre match entertainment' says the Cardiff City Website, oh yeah, and pay £3.70 for a shit pint in a plastic cup or £2 for a bottle of water or £3 for a pie.. errr NO.

Are they real or what? do they honestly think that the lure of some band called 'Tiger Please' is going to draw in the crowds, they aint even on till 2pm!

And before anyone says, oh well at least they are trying, what do you suggest.

Well a good start would be cheaper beer between 1-2 and some decent tv screens.

Not hard is it.

i think its a stupid idea but the fans did ask for it, what they are doing in the family stand is good, i dont know if they are going to continue with the magician this season, i personally didnt think he was that good but it keeps the kids entertained and gives them something to look forward to before they fully get into football and can analyse a game like a pro, but live music in the canton stand i cant see it being a huge success but only time will tell

They sound a decent band, but if the club wish to put on live entertainment before the "big show", then surely it should be around 12pm-1pm. Here's the link for their myspace by the way http://www.myspace.com/tigerplease

Im struggling to believe that when on a day out to the Football with their mates, lads are going to leave the surroundings of the pub to go and stand in the CCS to watch a Band for an hour before KO.

When Im going to the Match listening to a live band would probably be one of the furthest things from my mind that I would like do do. Id rather stand around with a beer, either watching an earlier game on the box or discussing the last game, the form of our players, talking about the opposition, putting on a bet, chatting to people I havnt seen all week, arranging to go to the next away game , Football day out is all about the Football to me, a live band FFS :?:

Just chat with your mates in the pub before the game instead and drink better lager at a better price! Simples!
