A mate of mine is a copper based at St Mellons, and got called into work at 2pm as cover. Many male staff has been sent to london, cover is now being called in, and they have been told Ely is on high alert, as are parts of newport.

just to add, just been told by same person (my copper mate), the police have just got wind of planned attacks tonight in St Mellons area.

Driven through Ely, nothing much happening, one police car in Wilson Road, few youths mulling around but nothing unusual. I have had to stop watching the news now, just want to jump through the screen and strangle the chavvy little cunts! Making me f*cking mad!!!! The girl who lives opposite me is a policewoman. I was washing my car around 7pm as she was walking home. Asked her what the 'grapevine' was saying regarding anything locally, and she said they weren't expecting any disturbances in Cardiff or the area.
