I think this is a great idea. I'm keen for supporting local music talent. Even if they are poor, at least it's something new and fair play to the club for giving this a try.

agree yeah, who knows, (if) we ever get into the play offs, they might get names we've heard of. not too big obviously.

Well I suppose I'VE obviously got a big No No against Me to perform at the CCS, I performed at Leeds' Newcastle' even Crew Alx Football Clubs and grounds etc etc, And My home town Club iv supported home and away over 35 or so years or more (CCFC) wouldnt even play a funny as fook song I recorded for the Cup Final, Tongue and cheek no one was offended but a couple of wheezles at the club that said If I re-recorded the song with the exclusion of the lyric Soul Crew and Leighton James the song would be played at Ninian' FFS Mr James was flattered mr Lineker requested a copy after it was aired on BBC1 national tv half hour before kick off.
I gave the Proceeds to a Cystic fibrosis As after asking the other board what do do with the proceeds, a City Fan whose 10yr son was a Fanatical City Fan that had the illness suggested the CFA!. He was enough to decide where Profits had to go, I only wished I'd told the Club to send my £200 ST depo also to the CFA instead of telling them to 'shuv it' where the sun dont shine! Then later whilst recording the Ninian Park Story at Ninian for the BBC I was told by certain staff members how They loved the song even quoting the words???? Ahh well, water under the bridge now, Shame really, Cuz along with a live proper reggae band We could have Blasted out live and direct THREE LITTLE BIRDS for Our supporters on Bobs behalf! What a Shame.

I know a Band will be doing a half hour set from 7 - 7.30pm next wed v brighton in the canton stand..cert
