Maybe the problem with London is the lack of 'community'. Nobody talks to their neighbours therefore don't feel the need to help their neighbours or they're disappearing to their weekend country homes when all this is happening. I like to think Cardiff is, by and large, a peaceful place compared to some of these places and I just don't think we'll get anything here. Besides, I reckon most of them will have rioted themselves out in the next couple of days anyway

we should be out there kicking off with them......instead we all moan about price of petrol, being unfairly treated as footie fans, and on and on and on......take london the olympics promises so much but delivers so little to the average kid on the street......no one from the local area has been employed for the building of this olympics theres no sports facilities apart from Virgin Active for £75 a month.....these kids are kicking back....never underestimate the power of youth.

Here in the Netherlands we've had some problems with rioting Marrocan youth in the past. At that time our government and police forces were refusing too to do something about it.
So we organised ourselves. Groups consisting of native Dutch people, Turks, Moluccans and Poles came into being all around the country. Since then every little riot is immediateley being crushed by our 'knokploegen'. Maybe it's something the English should too when their government doesn't protect them enough against the riots.

I was going to say that no-one is going to start trouble in Cardiff because all of them who aren't on here posting fear someone who is on here posting!
