but after saying that upton park is a famous ground and it was nice to visit a old ground i hadnt be en there before and was very keen to go there before they pull it down if they go to the oylmpic i hope they dont but i can see why they ned a knew ground

Trust me, if you never been there, the away end (Trevor Brooking Stand) is more than a dump, as the song saids, its a shit hole.

i loved it, felt like a proper football ground, i would love it if that was our home stadium.

The surrounding area was typical East End like. The front of the stadium was unique and worth keeping. The entrance we went in was nothing special but not bad. A bit harsh calling it a shithole I think.

its a nice stadium. its got its own character unlike most new stadiums these days.

It's showing its age, but I enjoyed it there on Sunday. Not just the result either. Proper football ground, in the heart of the East End. Thought their fans were OK. You can just feel the atmosphere, and history of the club. Don't really know why they want to move. To an athletics stadium? Be like us playing at Leckwith or Maindy
