Has today gone a little way to give more cnfidence to our left back situation?

Thought he had a good game, hes a bit slow but Kev didnt do good IMO.

Agreed, how ever he is decent at crossing. Malky may need to work on the speed of our defence...looked a bit sluggish. I'm not looking for something to bit at by the way cause it's a bloody good win, but just pointing out some stuff which may need improvement on.

They all played better under Malky as a team it was a good team performance today they all worked hard for each other well happy

Taylor looked lively to me, no complaints.

for once i wasnt nervous everytime we conceded a corner or free kick...

West Ham used a traingle move down both wings that created their best chances in the first half. It was quite an impressive move and I was surprised they stop using it half way through the half.

If we were midway through the season, I would say 6/10.

But for his 1st game, 7.5 / 10 for me.

He was willing to get forward at every oppurtunity. Put in a few great crosses, and was defensively OK.

He is streets ahead of Naylor in my eyes and will only get better.

I know its early, but I think Taylor will be our best signing as its a position we havnt addressed tidy for many seasons.

Gestede looks a gem aswell. Cowie and Gunnarson gave decent performances, which I was expecting as they are good players at this level.

Conway didnt get in the game much though, but it will take everyone at least 8 games to start showing their true colours. Earnie and Miller didnt look totally fit either.... If we can grind out some more wins like this today in the meantime, it will be a bonus.

And with the addition of Bellers (fingers crossed), we may surprise a few this season.

Agreed. Kev was shaky today. Like he started last season.

He's mr reliable for us and will improve very soon im sure.
