Sorry but I though Kev played piss poor today for his standards. Taylor played class. Hudson was ok-ish (HE SHOULDNT BE THE CAPTAIN) and gerrard made up for his errors.

I agree with that.

Marshall 8 - made a few mistakes, especially before Whitts cleared the ball from the line, did a lot of good routine saves
McNaughton - 7 - not a great match, but he still did fairly well, did 100%, you could see he was a little frustrated in the beggining when they were dominating
Gerrard - 8 - pretty great overall game, made a silly pass, but nothing came out of it, so I'm happy
Hudson - 6 - not spectacular at all, probably the worst defensive player today, luckily for him, Gerrard played very well.
Taylor - 7 - that was a fairly good debut for him, didn't make any big mistakes
Conway - 6 - didn't impress me at all, his passing was a little off.
Cowie - 6 same as Conway
Whittingham - 7 - was literally non-existant in first half, but in second he kinda revived, didn't gave up possesion easily, and was just quality, and that clearance was class, but no 8 just because of first half
Gunnarrson - 7 - again bad first half, but was quality in second, defended well, his passing was good, orchestrated the midfield in second half
Earnie - 6 - I don't think he deserves more, didn't play well, had more semi-chances than Miller, but kinda wasted them.
Miller - 6 - Already said in that notorious thread, but in first he was absolutely terrible, he played better when Gestede came on, that was the key to victory. If he hadn't scored, only a 4 from me, but he scored so I really can't give him a lower rating than 6.
Gestede - 9 - man of match, absolutely brilliant, looks like unlazy version of Jay, won pretty much every header, made a cracking tackle and a brilliant assist to the winner. Can't wait to see him again, he looks very promising, hopefully, he's not a one-hit-wonder
Mason - 6 - quite nonexistant, but wasn't terrible, he just didn't get the ball that much

Overall team performance - 7. If we can keep up playing like we did in second half I believe we actually can be auto-promotion contenders

They are a team and ill rate them as a team.
