Look at the title of this topic and cherish it. It won't happen a lot of times. We faced a side strong side which is now able to survive in the Premiership. I thought when he came on, Rudy Gestede made a massive impact and he was outstanding! Abouslutely Fabulous! I watched the game with my Mother, Father and younger sister. Throughout the game my parents were shouting "Get Miller off, take that boy off!". I was laughing my head off at the end. After the goal that Miller scored, my parents shouted "Keep that boy on!!!" It was by far the most dramatic game I had ever watched despite not attending the game. I knew that Rudy Gestede would make an impact when he came on, he is better than Jay Bothroyd, Jay wouldn't have chased the ball and even if he did, Ilunga would've knocked him over but Rudy managed to do all of that and set up a fantastic goal. I think, now that we've beaten the strongest side in the league, I think we have a shot at automatic promotion. Maybe even winning the Championship! Malky MacKay shouted throughout the game and occaisonally swore and was certainly louder than the commentators. We have now shown the Championship what we are capable of and now we are no longer the underdogs, we are now, contenders. Today was a absoulutely fantastic performance. We still have tough games coming up soon with the likes of Blackpool and Brighton but hopefully we can also show them that we can beat them. I thought the man of the match was David Marshall and I thought Malky made the right decision for picking him. He kept out shots that even the top keepers in the division couldn't save. He made hard saves look easy. He only made one mistake and even then, that didn't go in thanks to Peter Whittingham who kept the shot out. Our next game is against Bristol City at the Cardiff City Stadium and I am sure that I will be attending this game and Kenny Miller and the rest of the squad will have a superb reception.
