The Vale today

Mon Jul 25, 2011 1:40 pm

As was mentioned in earlier post went to watch the players train at the Vale today and as others that post on here have said it is a good experience and you are acknowledged by players, staff and Malky .After training players will sign autograph s and have a chat.

Of the players we are looking to sign,Miller was there in City kit but did not train.
Did see Gestede but was not training
Fagan took part in full training session but was clearly not fit ,did score in a full scale match though

Conway trained on his own.

Earnie was paired with Mason in match, while Fagan was with beast, did feel like repeating if Parkin scores we re on the pitch as again never going to happen.

Whitts looks yythe stand out player in these matches in terms of quality.
Lots of work with the ball, pass and move etc,Malky turns the air blue if not happy but also very encouraging.

Super kev Was missing from training,Quinn took full part,Mcphail trained on his own.

If you have the opportunity well recommended to go and watch these sessions and kids love it.
Starts around ten and finishes around 12,then round to the bookies,.........sorry that was last season.

My 10 year old son kept passing any stray balls back for the players which he loved and fair play to Mcphail he did a little passing session with him. :ayatollah:
