Craig Bellamy has told Manchester City he only wants a permanent move if he is to leave Eastlands.
The 32-year-old striker who spent last season at Cardiff City, told Sky Sports he is not interested in a similar transfer this year, so he is left with two choices – find a club who can afford to take him or continue to play in Manchester City’s reserves.
Cardiff born Bellamy said: "To be honest, I don't want to go on loan again because where would I go after that?"
"A permanent move would be the best option for me.
"If not, I expect to stay the whole year at City.
"I'll obviously do very little. I won't be involved with the manager and the first-team."
Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has remained tight-lipped on any moves to re-sign Bellamy throughout the pre-season.

Dont understand this.
Bellamy could come to us again for a years loan then sign for us on a free after that.

Obviously he looking for one last long term contract.
Maybe 50k a week for 3 years is better than 80k a week for this season and on the scrap heap afterwards.
I think that most suitors will be looking at a large pay as you play element in the wages due to his injury problems.
Lets face it, his performances are going to get worse not better as time goes on
