...are going to get found out big time this year?
I think theres only so far Holloway is capable of taking his philosophies and I do believe that his success to date with the Seasiders has been reliant on a number of factors conveniently falling into place for him - including the collective player base. Although he instilled a great team sprit, he was very lucky with the personnel he had as I don't believe he's capable of buiding a team via his own craft.
It was one of those situations that almost seemed destined to happen, a complete one off. Last season at Christmas showed that as soon as the previous seasons momentum stalled and the club/team needed Holloway to utilise his managerial skills and experience, they spiralled out of control.
I'm not deliberately trying to take anything away Holloway here but I can see him getting sacked by Christmas tbh - the last 2 seasons everything fell nicely into place for him...this year I can't see them doing it again, and the style of football which Holloway will insist they play will get them ruined on a number of occasions imo.
His transfer dealings are further highlighting my theory, as the likes of Barry Ferguson are not capable of delivering Holloways style of play.
Any thoughts?

I agree with you...I wouldve loved to seen him in a City shirt, but the point I'm trying to make is that the method of play focused within the middle of the park that Holloway needs in order for his teams to be successful Ferguson is not capable of delivering - hes not that type of player.
Ferguson's passing ability is not to the standard of Vaughan or Adams, and without that level of vision, speed or pass and technique in the middle Blackpool will get competely over run. They have not replaced either Vaughan or Adams imo, this will be one of the main reasons for the difficult year I think is in front of them.
I could be wrong, but I belive last year was a one off and Holloway is not caapable of manufacturing it again

Ferguson's passing ability is far better than both Vaughan and Adams[/quote]
Considering his defensive capabilities if that was true a top half Prem team wouldve snapped him up

Holloway got lucky two years ago, expect them to struggle. if they struggle at the start and stick with holloway then to go down.

I think they'll do very well this season, will be amongst the bunch pushing for the Prem.

i think Blackpool have peaked and will go back to being a run of the mill Championship side, battling to stay up in the next 3 seasons.
They got a cracking bit of momentum going that got them promoted, it's gone now.
