I need to find out whether a person is working or not

Well if they are working, its going to be cash in hand. If they claim they armt working tben theyre prob claiming benefits. Only way to do it is to follow them. Thats how government catxh benefit cheats out.

Anyone know of any ideas how I can get this information..? Its concerning civil action Im taking but the person is claiming that they aren't working to meet repayments. However they have lied about other issues surrounding their lifestyle and only just found out which is the reason why I dont believe them that they aren't working.

Agree with PhatFrog only way to know for sure would be to follow him like the government investigators would. If he is working, it's bound to be cash in hand, cos it can't be traced ie no tax, NI contributions etc. Good luck fella

If he's working from home it could be difficult. Nick the rubbish bag just before they are due to be collected. You may get some clues about all sorts of things if they don't shred mail etc. A bit extreme, but if you want the info badly enough.

Even eating habits can tell a lot. (from the packaging etc, lifestyle/food deliveries on regular occasions is not within reach of almost all on benefits etc)

Rooting through is extreme, but if you choose to do it, make sure he's put it out on the street. If it's still on his property and you get caught, you could be prosecuted for trespass.
