GOODWILLIE......MAYBE A SOLUTION???????

What we could do is ask dundee utd if we could take him on loan pending the outcome of the trial, if he is found not guilty we buy him straight away, now that sounds as if everything is in our favour but dundee utd want/need the money and in the meantime he is off their pay roll, i think it,s worth a shout because at this moment in time no club is going to go near him and remember, we are the only club at present to have agreed to pay the full asking price for him!!!

Not a bad idea by any stretch. I think for this to work however, Dundee Utd would need to have a "Lenders Fee" of sorts. Because I think he is too much of an assett to let play for someone else for potentially months without any real money coming on for him. I think we should offer them £250,000 up front to take him on loan, and then make that up to the £2 Million, IF/WHEN he is found Not Guilty. :ayatollah:

Exactly, a lot of loan agreements now involve a signing on fee!!!!
