IMO he is an excelllent signing, premier league player. he will do wonders in this league. if we sign him, id be tempted to chuck a top scorer bet on. big strong pacey, great finishing and a good work rate. i personnally, am excited !!

I don't have a problem with us signing Miller except for the fact to me it signals us ending hope of signing Bellamy. Unless Mackay intends on playing Bellamy out wide but as we know, Bellamy only came into his own in the middle. I hope we sign this Gestede lad purely so we have another target option along side Parkin who looked like nothing had improved from last season last night but that is only one game.

I'm not a dreamer though. Anything above 12th this season and I'll be happy so the fact we're signing someone who has scored goals at this level, this transfer doesn't worry me.

bellamy will almost cert be used out wide and conway on the other. goodwille earnie miller and gestede/mason will see most game time i hope

formation wise, yes a 442 seems likely with our wingers but dont put it past a 433 with cowie whitts and gunnarson in the middle(havent seen kiss yet) and then bellamy miller goodwillie/earnie up top.

his goals per game last year was one of the best in europe !! if u ignore your messi and ronaldos i wouldnt be surprised if he was right behind them before he moved.

on the bellamy front, we all know he was much better up front last season but thats when we lacked goals and firepower with no chops and bothroyd missing everything he hit.

with the strikers were (looking to) bring/ing in then we have qaulity up top for bellamy to be just as affective if not more on the wing providing for the strikers

Your comment is immediately invalid because you've obviously gone on Wikipedia to do your research. He joined Bursaspor in January so made 15 starts in the second half of the season. You need to add his starts for Rangers where he scored enough goals in 4 months to be top scorer.

People seem blinded by his lack of scoring at Derby. Derby had a shit midfield with no supply when he was there. You could have given them Alan Shearer in his prime and he'd not have hit 10 goals.

Why the negativity about Miller? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Does it bring joy to others? Football is more complex than going by past form. You get the right manager and right player together and anything can happen.

better goalscorer than bellamy IMO and quarter of the price. different types of player i know but need all the quality we can get up front and miller still has years left in him. bargain for this type of quality of front, compliement him with bellamy or goodwillie and we will be flying.

I did a mistake with 15 games there, I had a brainfart Miller scored lots of goals against L1 level teams, that's not saying much. A few years ago he did score in Championship, but he's much older now, he has little to none technical ability, I don't see why should we pay 1kk euros for him. deadwood
