Don't all laugh at once
And no it wasn't a grass burn to his aristotle it was from a pretty harmless looking challenge. Warnock hoping its nothing serious.

Seemed a nothing challenge but definitely in discomfort.
Am hoping a wee while with Warnock will toughen him up a bit.

Stan. He won't have injured his backbone!!!!!!

Stan sorry to say this and its not sour grapes but he tends to fall over quite easily. He has undoubted talent but he will frustrate you the same a he did with us. If he comes up against a strong defence he will take to falling over, raising his arms and generally moan and groan so much that the referee will book him for decent!!!!!!
Our promotion push want to rat shit when he won his first cap. Unfortunately it went to his head and he thought clubs would be lining up to sign him so be careful he can be a match winner one week and a passenger the next.
Good luck in your quest to stay in the top flight. Looking at your signings and our friends down the road I think its going to be a pretty tough year for the supporters.

Great player but he does like to play injured. He used to signal to come off in lots of games and DJ would ignore him and 10mins later he would be fine.

I heard there was a fly in his eye.

As I say I'm hoping Warnock will knock that side of his game out of him.
Just spoke to my pal Jay was taken off as a precaution only for a hamstring tweak.

Get used to it Stan.
He was probably a little bit tired. He's an international footballer after all.

Like he knocked being a moaning, whingy tw*t out of Taarabt's game? I well recall him wanting to be subbed out of petulance...

Text from my mate last night - plymouth season ticket holder and unbiased with Jay "After moaning and generally playing shite jay gone off injured!"
Started like he left us then..

I used to call him LINO 'cos he spent all his time on the floor. Hope the QPR fans are as patient with him as we were. GR.

Thank fug hes not playing for us again. He was the most skillfull player we ever had since Friday. But his attitude is crap for a pro player needs a good kick up the gr ass as thats where he spent most of his time after his first only cap for england.

Your relationship with Bothroyd will probably be like mine with the mrs.
At first you'll love him to bits but then you'll realise he's annoying and won't be able to stand him.

That about sums him up

You have a manager there in Warnock who can get the best out of players. I think if he does to Both, what he did for Tarrabt - then it could work for you.
At Cardiff, when both was trying to get a name he worked. Once he got there he went smug and would have got subbed many times if we had strength in depth. All the way through his time here he fell down though. But when he was good, he was great.
We love him and hate him - considering what we have had put in front of us over the years - Bothroyd is up there with the best strikers we have had. (that may be more a cardiff failing than the brilliance of Bothroyd!)
