Possible transfer targets?

just been looking at the free transfer list that was released at the start of July and notice a couple of names who could really add something to the squad. What do you guys think?

I noticed Jason Koumas was on there, and i know he didnt get a great deal of playing time last season, but surely it would be quite a coup if we could get him in permanently to be used as an impact sub or maybe even the one to pull the strings in midfield with Whitts??

Its gone very quiet with regard to signing him especially after he said we were interested. Maybe Malkay has different ideas about players?

just out of interest why would you have Koumas back? He's old, injury prone, on high wages and showed last season that he doenst have it anymore. Plus he's another one who hardly lives his life as a dedicated professional should! If we were talking about Koumas 5 seasons ago then this would be a no brainer, these days I wouldnt touch him with a barge pole!

There's a reason Koumas didn't get into the team last season. He's past it. I would have loved for the Koumas of old, the one who was here last time, to have come back, but he was a shadow of that player. Olofinjana, Koumas. Both a waste of a loan

I disagree with the bit about olifinjana thought he played very well for us & was solid im midfield & scored some great goals!! he did go down hill further into the season but so did most of the squad!!
